ACLS Course
The ACLS 2 day course strongly recommends studying 1-2 weeks prior to class, and using either the AHA Student study guide, or the ECC hand book prior to class so that you are studying current material and the subjects that will be covered in the test. The course is designed as an overview of the material, so all students must be acquainted with all aspects of ACLS prior to class. This new training technique is designed to ensure a better and more comprehensive experience. The ACLS course provides basic skills needed to evaluate and manage the first 10 minutes of an adult ventricular fibrillation/ventricular tachycardia (VF/VT) arrest and other cardiac emergencies.
Students must pass a written exam and skills test in order to qualify for an ACLS Course Completion Card.

ACLS Dental Professional
About the Dental ACLS course
Just as your patients don't see a cardiologist for endodontic procedures, you are not expected to diagnose and treat acute coronary syndromes or complicated arrhythmias. The primary goal of "ACLS for Dental Professionals" is to empower you to react confidently and competently to medical emergencies as they occur in your practice.
We start all courses with the basics. A thorough CPR program is incorporated into your conference. All aspects of BCLS (CPR) including AED operation are covered including ample time for practice. Challenging topics such as ECG rhythm analysis are broken down into easy to remember and apply formats.
Focus areas include:
Common medical emergencies, airway management, bronchospasm, anaphylactic shock, vasovagal response, heart attack and stroke, YEPP (your emergency preparedness plan), your emergency care team, sedation pharmacology, acls drugs and usage, sensible equipment purchases, and so much more.

ACLS Instructor Renewal
The Instructor Renewal Course is a 1-day program designed to prepare AHA instructors to disseminate the science, skills, and philosophy of resuscitation programs to participants enrolled in AHA courses. There is no question that instructors are the key element in the AHA training network.
The practice of medicine is considered to be both an art and a science. AHA training involves both "heart" and science. A good AHA instructor is able to teach information and skills and to generate enthusiasm and enlist support of the AHA course goals and objectives, motivating participants to act in emergency situations.
AHA instructors are the best tool the AHA has to fulfill its mission- to reduce disability and death caused by heart disease and stroke. The more skilled instructors the AHA ECC Programs have, the more participants will be trained in CPR and ECC. By increasing the number of bystanders prepared and willing to activate the EMS system and provide CPR, early defibrillation, and advanced life support, the AHA will be able to significantly reduce disability and death from heart attacks, cardiac arrest, and stroke.
